1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how LinkYouHost collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information when people visit the website, request information, create an account, order services or contact support. Separate provider notices may apply to domain registries, registrars, payment processors, Google Workspace and other third-party services.

2. Information we collect

We may collect contact information, account identifiers, service selections, order and invoice records, domain-registration information, support communications, security-verification records and preferences. Technical records may include IP address, device and browser information, page requests, timestamps, referral information, cookies and security events. Payment-card details should be collected and processed by the connected payment provider; LinkYouHost should retain only the transaction references needed for accounting and support.

3. Sources of information

Information may come directly from the customer, from an authorized account user, from automated website and security logs, from payment and support platforms, or from domain registries, registrars and service providers involved in fulfilling an order.

4. How information is used

  • Provide, configure, renew and support requested services.
  • Verify account ownership and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, spam and abuse.
  • Process orders, invoices, refunds and required accounting records.
  • Send service, security, renewal and policy notices.
  • Respond to sales, support, privacy and legal requests.
  • Improve website reliability, accessibility and service documentation.
  • Meet contractual, registry, tax, legal and regulatory obligations.

6. Domain registration data

Domain services require information to be shared with the sponsoring registrar, registry and ICANN-related systems. Some registration data may be published or made available through WHOIS or RDAP according to registry policy and applicable privacy rules. Privacy or proxy services, when offered, have separate eligibility and terms.

7. Service providers and disclosure

We may share only the information reasonably needed with hosting and infrastructure providers, registrars and registries, email and productivity providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention services, support platforms, professional advisers and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not permit service providers to use customer information for unrelated purposes.

8. International processing

LinkYouHost and its service providers may process information in countries other than the customer’s country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms should be used.

9. Retention

Account, order, domain and support records are retained only for the period reasonably needed to provide services, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet accounting or registry requirements and comply with law. Retention periods vary by record type. Information that is no longer required should be deleted or anonymized securely.

10. Security

Administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used according to the sensitivity of the information. Measures may include encrypted transport, access controls, logging, least-privilege administration, backups and incident response. No online system is risk-free. Customers must protect passwords, enable available multi-factor authentication and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

11. Privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some information must be retained to complete a contract, protect security, comply with registry rules or meet legal obligations. Requests may be sent to privacy@linkyouhost.com.

12. Cookies and analytics

The website may use essential cookies for security, navigation and preferences. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should not be enabled without the required notice and choice controls. Browser settings may also be used to manage cookies, although disabling essential storage can affect website functions.

13. Children

Services are intended for adults and organizations able to enter a service agreement. LinkYouHost does not knowingly request personal information from children where parental authorization is required.

14. Changes and contact
